Michelle Louise Balson
I am a Registered Nurse currently working in a busy health centre in Somerset, and Solution Focused Hypnotherapist.
I receive referrals from Cowan House, Weston Super Mare and Hampden Osteopathic Clinic in Winscombe. I predominantly work online via Zoom.
I am qualified and experienced in working with children, teenagers and adults.
In my years of nursing, I became deeply aware of how precious life is.
You can't waste a moment of it on feelings of anxiety, fear, guilt and shame.
Seeking support can be daunting, but I believe that asking for help is not a sign of weakness - it is actually a sign of tremendous courage.
Don't waste another second living with anxiety.
I am also a Nurse Practitioner working in a busy health centre in Somerset where I am training to be an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and independent non-medical prescriber.
Becoming a nurse came from a desire to care for people in their times of need. I became interested in hypnotherapy when I wanted a way to help people to live better emotionally and physically. I believe that when we have greater control over our mental health then we are able to make healthier choices which can lead to a full and happy life.
Living with conditions such as anxiety and panic attacks can have a huge impact on someone’s life and hypnotherapy can help enormously with these and other conditions
My approach is Solution Focused which means that we don't necessarily need to visit past, sometimes painful, experiences but instead we will work together to help you find a way to cope with the present and make changes which will help you towards your preferred future. This approach is not problem focused but more solution based.
I believe that Clinical Hypnotherapy and Solution Focused Therapy is the perfect way to change unwanted behaviour.
The past can't be changed but you can change the way you feel about tomorrow.
