Michelle Louise Balson
I am a Registered Nurse and Solution Focused Hypnotherapist working in Wedmore Surgery and The Hampden Osteopathic Clinic, Winscombe, Somerset.
In my years of nursing, I became deeply aware of how short life is.
You can't waste a moment of it on feelings of anxiety, fear, guilt and shame.
Seeking support can be daunting, but how brave are you having to be to live without the support Solution Focused Hypnotherapy could give you?
I can give you the tools of effective transformation to break these self-destructive habits. So, you start to live your preferred life.
Don't waste another second living with anxiety.
Choose a new and better path with Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
I am a Practice Nurse working in a busy doctor's surgery. I specialise in Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Contraception, and Minor Illness.
Becoming a nurse came from a desire to care for people in their times of need. I became interested in hypnotherapy when I wanted a way to empower people to live better emotionally and physically. I believe that when we have greater control over our mental health then we are able to make healthier choices which can lead to a full and happy life.
Living with conditions such as anxiety and panic attacks can have a huge impact on someone’s life and hypnotherapy can help enormously with these and other conditions
My approach is Solution Focused which means that we don't necessarily need to visit past, sometimes painful, experiences but instead we will work together to help you find a way to cope with the present and make changes which will help you towards your preferred future.
I believe that Clinical Hypnotherapy and Solution Focused Therapy is the perfect way to change unwanted behaviour.
You can't change the past but you can change the way you feel about tomorrow.
I have trained at The Clifton Practice of Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) in Bristol where I have gained my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DSFH) and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD). This Diploma is accredited by the NCFE, a national awarding organisation for further education. CPHT is a nationwide well respected hypnotherapy training centre.
I have also trained at The Clinical Hypnotherapy School where I have obtained my Diploma in Medical Hypnotherapy. This diploma has built on my knowledge of how hypnotherapy can help people with significant health challenges including long term health concerns such as cancer and the associated treatments, palliative care, pain, complex phobias (needle or blood phobia), emetophobia (fear of vomiting), health trauma and weight management.
I am a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and The National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH) and the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I am a member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
I have insurance and enhanced DSB clearance to work with adults and children.
